Army hands over armored personnel carrier to Macomb Sheriff

Warren, Mich -- The Army's National Automotive Center (NAC) today ( June 14 )
handed over a Army armored personnel carrier to Macomb County Sheriff Mark A.
Hackel.
He received the vehicles as part of the Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO)
program, which is responsible for transferring excess Department of Defense
property to state and local law enforcement agencies.
The unit will be added the the Macomb County multi-jurisdictional SWAT team.
