Captain Brenda Baker
Captain Baker joined the Macomb County Sheriff's Office in 1989 as a Dispatcher. In 1991, she was promoted to the rank of Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Road Patrol. Upon being promoted to the rank of Sergeant, she served as Road Patrol Supervisor, Jail Command, Training Division Sergeant and as a Detective in the Detective Bureau. In 2007, Captain Baker was promoted to Lieutenant and has been assigned to Jail Operations, Administrative Lieutenant, Uniform Services, Macomb Auto Theft Squad (MATS), Shift Commander and the County of Macomb Enforcement (COMET). Captain Baker is actively involved in law enforcement and corrections training at the Macomb Police Academy, Macomb Community College, Detroit Medical Center Security and the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards as a Proctor for the State Law Enforcement Pre-Employment Physical Agility Testing. Captain Baker received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Southeastern University. She is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command, and the FBI National Academy. |
