Lieutenant Brian Barlog
Marine Division Command

Lt. Brian Barlog is currently assigned as the Marine Division Commander, which patrols our lakes and waterways.

Lt. Barlog's training includes:

•  Associate Degree-Law  Enforcement
•  Accident investigation
•  Motor Carrier Enforcement
•  Evidence Technician
•  Death Investigation
•  Breathalyzer Operator
•  Alcohol Enforcement
• Interviewing Techniques

Lt. Barlog was hired in 1986 as a corrections officer. Then promoted to Deputy Sheriff in 1990. Several assignments included, Traffic Division, Macomb Township Sub-Station.

Promoted to Sergeant 1 in 1996, assignments included Dispatch Supervisor, Detective Bureau.

Promoted to Sergeant in 1999, assignments included Team Leader-Detective Bureau, Administrative Sergeant-Detective Bureau.

Promoted to Lieutenant 2004, currently Midnight Shift Commander
